FEATS OF THE WEEK: Coach J.T. Curtis of regionally ranked River Ridge, La., John Curtis earned his 406th victory in a 49-0 rout of New Orleans, Carver. The mark leaves the 36-year veteran Curtis second all-time nationally behind John McKissick of Summerville, S.C. McKissick, who remains active, has 513 wins in 53 seasons . . . Jay Thomas of Oakdale, Minn., Tartan had 447 all-purpose yards and six TDs to lead a 41-29 win over Richfield. The senior RB will play at Minnesota next year . . . Pittsburg, Kan., St. Mary's-Colgan extended the nation's second-longest winning streak to 57 games with a 30-0 shutout of Girard. The Trojans are unbeaten since 1999. The nation's longest win streak belongs to No. 2 Charlotte, N.C., Independence with 64 entering Monday's game versus Providence. Preseason No. 1-ranked Concord, Calif., De La Salle, which entered the season with a national-record 151-game winning streak, has started the season 0-2-1.
