FEATS OF THE WEEK: Three of the nation's most successful coaches got their 300th win. Bob Ladouceur, who has led regionally ranked Concord, Calif., De La Salle to six National Prep Poll titles and CIF crowns in 26 seasons, improved his career record to 300-19-3 with a 35-13 win over Pittsburg . . . Matt Senffner of New Lenox, Providence Catholic became the first Illinois coach to reach 300 wins with a 28-27 defeat of Chicago, De La Salle. Senffner, who has led the Celtics to nine state championships in 38 seasons, is 300-113-1 . . . Bill Mignault of Ledyard, Conn., earned win No. 300 in a 21-7 defeat of Waterford. Mignault is 300-124-5 in 40 seasons . . . The nation's second-longest active win streak ended when Garden Plain, Kan., defeated Conway Springs, 35-7. Conway Springs had won 62 consecutive games dating back to the 2001 season . . . Waterloo, Iowa, East extended its state-record losing streak to 53 games with a 45-10 loss to Iowa City High. Ironically, East also holds the Iowa record for most consecutive wins with 55 from 1965-71.
