FEATS OF THE WEEK: Running back Jake Sharp of regionally ranked Salina, Kan., Central pushed his season touchdown total to a state-record 54 in the Mustangs' 63-20 rout of Goddard in the Class 5A state playoffs. The University of Kansas-bound senior had seven scores and rushed for 414 yards on 19 carries for the game . . . Running back John Dergo of Morris, Ill., scored four touchdowns and kicked a 27-yard field goal to set a state single-season record with 329 points. The senior, who plans to only wrestle at the University of Illinois, also tied the state mark for touchdowns in a career with 104 . . . South Florida-bound quarterback Alwan Lee had more than 300 yards of offense and scored four touchdowns in regionally ranked Miami, Washington's 42-21 rout of Miami, Jackson. It capped the Tornadoes' third consecutive district title and an unbeaten 7-0 (three games were cancelled due to hurricanes) regular season. Washington had not played a game since October 15 due to Hurricane Wilma
