FEATS OF THE WEEK: A limited schedule of prep football resumed near the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged areas of Louisiana. The most notable outcome was Boutte, Hahnville's 28-27 home win over fellow state power Reserve, East St. John . . . Fifth-ranked Bellevue, Wash., defeated its second national Top 10 team from California in as many seasons. The Wolverines never trailed in a regionally telecast 30-16 defeat of then-No. 6 Long Beach, Poly at Seattle's Qwest Field. A year ago, Bellevue ended Concord, De La Salle's 151-game winning streak at the same venue . . . In another interstate nationally televised battle of Top 25 teams, No. 6 Springdale, Ark., humiliated then-No. 13 Jenks, Okla., 44-0, at Springdale. It was the worst loss in the career of coach Allan Trimble, who is 113-12-0 with seven state titles in his 10th season at Jenks . . . Senior running back Knowshon Moreno of regionally ranked Middletown, South became New Jersey's all-time leader in rushing touchdowns with 103 . . . Bob Schneider of Newport, Central Catholic became Kentucky's all-time leader in coaching victories with a 48-7 win over Covington, Holy Cross. Schneider, 67, is 293-167-2.
