FEATS OF THE WEEK: Quarterback Willy Korn threw six touchdown passes and ran for two other scores in No. 10 Duncan, S.C., Byrnes' 55-20 blowout of Hartsville. Korn, who has committed to Clemson, had a state-record 53 touchdown passes last season. The Rebels will host regionally ranked Belle Glade, Fla., Glades Central Saturday on ESPN . . . No. 9 Charlotte, N.C., Independence extended the nation's longest current win streak (and second longest overall) to 93 with a 17-6 victory against West Charlotte. But it was the lowest point output by the Patriots during the streak, which began in September 2000 . . . Indianapolis, Cathedral beat Carmel, 13-7, making the Irish the first Indiana team to reach 600 wins. Valdosta, Ga., is the nation's all-time winningest program with 828 victories since 1913 . . . Senior running back Golden Tate of Hendersonville, Tenn., Pope John Paul II rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns on just 13 carries in a 28-14 win over Greenbrier. Tate (uncommitted) also returned a failed onside kick attempt 62 yards for another touchdown.
