National Prep Football Poll - Week 11

URBANDALE, Iowa -- Armwood (Seffner, Fla.) entered the Top 25 of the National Prep Poll for the first time since November 2008. The 8-0 Hawks -- who have outscored opponents by an average margin of 36 points this season -- are the lone new entry to this week's national rankings.

Stability reigns throughout the rest of the poll. At the top, Trinity (Euless, Texas) remains the No. 1 in the nation, where it has been in all 11 polls this season. Mississippi juggernaut South Panola (Batesville) is No. 2 for the eighth straight week, and St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) checks in again at No. 3. The Raiders have been in the Top 10 every week of the season.

The National Prep Football Poll is compiled by high school sports journalist Jamie DeMoney with input from sportswriters, experts, and coaches. The national Top 25 and regional Top 10's follow with won-loss records:

FEATS OF THE WEEK: Breon Key returned a kickoff and a punt for touchdowns in the second half of No. 7 Hampton, Va., Phoebus' 37-12 win over then-unbeaten rival Hampton. Key, a 6-foot-2 senior, has committed to play basketball at Old Dominion. It was Phoebus' 38th consecutive win, the second longest active streak in the nation. ... According to the Rock Hill Herald, senior Justin Worley (Tennessee) threw for 429 yards and four touchdowns to lead regionally ranked Rock Hill, S.C., Northwestern past Clover, 42-21. Worley now has a state-record 131 career touchdown passes and is the first player in state history with more than 11,000 passing yards. ... Watertown, N.Y., running back Tevion Cappe had 457 rushing yards and five touchdowns in his team's 58-16 playoff rout of East Syracuse, East Syracuse-Minoa. The Watertown Daily Times reported the senior ran for 391 yards one week earlier and his total yardage is 1,797 in eight games this season. ... Junior Patrick Brand amassed 483 rushing yards with six touchdowns to lift Danville, Ky., over Springfield, Washington County, 55-35, according to the Danville Advocate-Messenger. ... Junior Drew Oehrle set the Indiana season record for field goals as Indianapolis, Roncalli beat Plainfield, 24-21, in an opening-round playoff game. Oehrle made three field goals in the game, bringing his season total to 18. He has connected from 40 yards or longer nine times.
