No. 13 Brentwood, Tenn., Academy got 22 points from 6-foot-9 North Carolina signee Brandan Wright to defeat Memphis, Ridgeway, 66-58. Senior guard Joshua Bone, a Southern Illinois recruit, also had 22 for the Eagles . . . Georgia Tech-bound forward Thaddeus Young had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 24 Memphis, Mitchell to a 69-67 win over Bolivar, Central. Memphis recruit Willie Kemp, a 6-2 guard, had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Bolivar . . . Junior forward Michael Beasley had a triple-double for No. 2 Mouth of Wilson, Va., Oak Hill in a 116-69 rout of Charlotte, N.C., Providence Day. The UNC-Charlotte commit scored 36 points with 10 rebounds and 10 blocks. Beasley also led the Warriors with 21 points in a 64-56 win over Merion Station, Pa., Episcopal.
