MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Rhodes men's lacrosse team started spring break with a road win against Huntingdon College, 6-5.
The Lynx improve to 4-2 on the year while the Hawks fall to 1-6 on the season.
Rhodes had a balanced scoring attack to bypass Huntingdon, with six different Lynx working into the scoring column.

Austin Bridgforth,

Peter Baricev each had a goal apiece.

Thomas Matthews, who snagged eight saves in the net in route to his fourth win of the season.
The battle was a close one, with each squad firing 37 shots on the day. Rhodes managed more shots on goal by a tally of 17-13, but was just edged in ground balls, 23-20 and in face-offs, with 8-6.
The Lynx will be back in action at home against Transylvania University on March 9 at 6 p.m.
