Bucs were back at Betty Basler with the series up for grabs on Sunday as ETSU hosted Western Carolina.

Going three up three down in the first two frames, Halle Laramie was able to collect ETSU's first hit of the day with a single in the third. Jasmine Sanchez followed it up with a fielders choice to land on first but the Bucs were unable to capitalize.

Stranding eight runners, the Bucs inability to turn hits into runs cost them in the low scoring affair.

Jasmine Sanchez was a force to be reckoned with in left field, throwing two girls out at the plate from the outfield.

Cameron Lauretta took the loss on the mound for the Bucs. Lauretta threw four complete giving up two runs, she was replaced by Kendall Thackston who collected three strikeouts and no earned runs in three innings of work.

Falling to the Catamounts 3-0, the Bucs are now 7-25 on the year and a measly 1-8 in the SoCon with their only conference win coming in game two of Saturday's double header with Western Carolina.

Up next, ETSU is on the road for a midweek double header on Tuesday at Appalachian State.
