Tennessee Vols football put a cap on the spring season by showcasing what they have in store for the 2024 season on Saturday with the annual Orange & White spring game.

Despite limited seating only allowing 10,000 fans to watch, it was a big day in Rocky Top as the Vols under Josh Heupel continue to build towards a championship in his fourth season at the helm.

And while the scoreboard read 21-14 in favor of the Orange, it was more about the scene in Knoxville with returning alumni and family that made the day a spectacle for Vols nation - starting with the Vol Walk where the men's basketball team joined the walk to the stadium.

"It was a great day just getting our players' families back here into town, having an opportunity to see them before the game and then obviously afterwards," Heupel said. "I enjoyed Vol Walk—the opportunity to honor our basketball program and everything that those guys accomplished. It was awesome to be a part of honoring them today, too."

Outside of all the extracurricular things outside of football, Coach Heupel and company are eager to see what comes this year as they continue to build the culture, not only in their own locker room, but the entire Tennessee atmosphere moving forward.

"The culture piece is extremely important, in particular at this time of year, because there's not a lot of time with them before you get to training camp," said Heupel. "Been a great weekend. Brotherhood getting an opportunity together and great to see a lot of guys get back here. Fans were awesome, too. Great energy from everyone."
