ETSU standout defensive back Sheldon Arnold II enters transfer portal

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) — Via X on Tuesday night, ETSU senior defensive back Sheldon Arnold II has entered the transfer portal.

In an X post, Arnold said "Thank you ETSU. Officially in the transfer portal as a grad transfer."

The announcement comes just four days after ETSU's annual Blue & Gold spring game.

Arnold was a first team All-SoCon selection following the 2023 season where he had 87 total tackles, four interceptions and three fumble recoveries - along with a pair of defensive touchdowns to help lead the ETSU defense.
