Lady Vols set for another big road series in Tuscaloosa

Coming off of a series win over LSU, the Lady Vols have met the final stretch of the SEC slate - all starting Friday night in a trip to Tuscaloosa to take on No. 12 Alabama.

The seventh ranked Vols have just two series' left before postseason play begins and while that creeps in with eyes on getting back to the Women's College World Series - they are looking for the road challenge and the focus of leaving everything on the field.

"I want to see us go for it. I think if we just go for it, we'll have no regrets no matter what happens these next two weeks," said head coach Karen Weekly. "I don't want them to look back at the end of any of these weekends and say 'man I wish I had.' You can't control outcomes, but you can control how you play the game."

First pitch from the series opener set for 7pm on Friday.
