Celebrating Champions, ETSU donors hold luncheon to celebrate four titles in seven days

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) — Wheaties may be the breakfast of champions, but on Friday, pasta and pizza was the lunch of champions as ETSU donors held a special luncheon for their four spring SoCon Champions.

Women's and Men's Golf and Tennis all game together at William B. Greene Jr. Stadium on Friday to celebrate their recent accomplishments, which featured four SoCon titles in the span of seven days.

ETSU Women's Golf got things tee'd off collecting their title on April 16th, before Men's and Women's Tennis teams got to celebrate on April 20th, and coming full circle a week later, the Men's Golf team completed the sweep with the title on April 23rd.

Prominent members of the community and ETSU Administrators all addressed the group, praising their achievements both on and off the court/course. Athletic Director Dr. Richard Sander saying that this group set the standard while leaving their legacy.
