Memphis football undrafted free agents tracker: Tigers who signed after 2024 NFL Draft

The 2024 NFL Draft is in the books.

For the second straight year, Memphis football did not have anyone drafted. But a few players are expected to sign deals as undrafted free agents. Running back Blake Watson signed with the Denver Broncos shortly after the draft ended, and defensive end Jaylon Allen followed shortly thereafter.

Memphis football undrafted free agents 2024

Blake Watson, Denver Broncos

Watson had expected to be picked but ended up sliding off the draft board. He had a very productive season in 2023 in Memphis after transferring from Old Dominion, rushing for over 1,000 yards and also helping the Tigers in the passing game.

He's a versatile back who will have a good shot to make the Broncos' roster in 2024. Denver had expressed interest in him throughout the draft process, and he quickly signed with them after the draft ended on Saturday.

Jaylon Allen, Denver Broncos

Allen also signed the Broncos as an undrafted free agent. He was a captain for Memphis in 2023 and had 41 tackles and two sacks. He was at Memphis for six seasons and was a program stalwart who helped the Tigers to a 10-3 season in 2023.

Joe Scates, Jacksonville Jaguars

Scates played two seasons at Memphis after transferring from Iowa State. He was a key contributor in 2023 and had a game-winning touchdown catch against North Texas.

He had 414 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 2023.

Geoffrey Cantin-Arku, Miami Dolphins

Cantin-Arku accepted an invite to the Dolphins' rookie minicamp.

He made 79 tackles in 2023 and was a starting linebacker for two seasons in the Bluff City after transferring from Syracuse. The Lévis, Québec, Canada native is also expected to be a top pick in the CFL draft.

Jacob Likes, Denver Broncos

Likes, Memphis' starting center for the past three seasons, decided to forego his final year of eligibility with the Tigers. He'll join a growing Memphis contingent in Denver after he accepted an invite to rookie minicamp.
