Middle school hoops postseason update

The Sumner County Conference Tournament championship games will not be played. Instead, the Hawkins and Hunter Middle girls squads and the Knox Doss and Station Camp boys squads will be declared co-champions.

All four teams will move on to the Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association (TMSAA) Area 3 Tournament, which is currently slated to begin on Tuesday at Knox Doss Middle at Drakes Creek.

The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday’s girls semifinals

5:30 p.m.             Hawkins vs. Mt. Juliet

6:50 p.m.             Hunter vs. West Wilson

Wednesday’s boys semifinals

5:30 p.m.             Station Camp vs. Mt. Juliet

6:50 p.m.             Knox Doss vs. West Wilson

Thursday’s games

4 p.m.   Girls consolation game

5:20 p.m.             Boys consolation game

6:40 p.m.             Girls championship game

8 p.m.   Boys championship game
