Michael Odom

The scholarship offers for Lexington rising senior Nick Marshall and South Side rising senior Malik Hicks continue to pour in.

Hicks, who helped lead the Hawks to the Class AA state championship in March, is now up to 10 scholarship offers.

The latest two offers came from Cincinnati and Oakland within the past week.

Those two schools are added to offers that have already come in from Louisiana Tech, Western Kentucky, Southern Miss, UT-Chattanooga, Ole Miss, UT Martin, High Point and Oklahoma State.

Hicks averaged 23.6 points, eight rebounds and three blocks during his junior season.

Three days after adding Tennessee as the fourth college offer, Indiana University offered Marshall on Sunday. Clemson and South Carolina also offered the 6-foot-11 player earlier this week to bring his total to nine scholarship offers.

The other five schools to offer him are Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Memphis, Alabama and Florida.

Marshall helped lead the Tigers to the Class AA sectionals before falling to Manassas while averaging 12 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks.
