Prep Football Practice Starts Today

Annual Tour of Area Teams

Coaches barking instructions, players blocking and tackling, quarterbacks and receivers working on timing routes and error-free handoffs to fleet-footed running backs.

 

In the greater Chattanooga area and throughout the state it can mean just one thing.

It’s time for Prep Football 2014.

 

Today is the first official day of practice and the chattanogan.com will make its annual whistle stop tour to get a glimpse of the talked about freshmen and the talented seniors working for one more shot at a winning season and the playoffs.

 

Early Start: Beginning at Soddy Daisy before 8 a.m. and working down I-27 to Hixson, Red Bank and Baylor by 9:30 and a stop at Boyd Buchanan by the end the Bucs practice at 10 it’s a quick view of practice, ask a few questions of the head coach and on to the next gridiron.

 

The tour zig zags across Hamilton County with a dozen or so more stops by early evening and closes out the day at Silverdale Academy’s 6-9:30 p.m. practice.
