Dickson Co. High hosts Week Zero game

Dickson County and Creek Wood High football fans get ready for some football tonight as the Cougars host CW. Here are some things to know and a breakdown of the night’s events. Remember to expect a crowd so plan accordingly.

2014 Dominated The Den

• Board of Education employees will get in the game free by showing school ID/Badges or TEA card to verify employment.

• DCHS employees and family should enter in the “COUGARNATION PASS GATE” located by the upper ticket booth

• Pre-game tickets will be sold at DCHS and CWHS

• Parking lots will open at 4 p.m. on Friday

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

• The DCHS AND CWHS Retired Administrator Recognition ,sponsored by Tri-Star Bank, will take place before the National Anthem

• Dickson Middle School, Charlotte Middle School and William James Middle School FOOTBALL players wearing their home jersey will be admitted for free… report to the player pass gate at the lower Field House Parking Lot

• The lower parking lot next to Henslee Drive (Hwy 70 By-Pass) will be reserved for visitors from Creek Wood / Creek Wood Tail Gaters may set up in the grassy areas on both sides of the entrance to that lot

• Dickson County Tail Gaters will set up in the football practice field and park in the lower JR lot

• The DCHS Band will lead our Football team down “The Hill “ for the COUGAR WALK at 6:30

• Tri-Star Bank is sponsoring the tailgaters for both schools and will present a check for $250 to each school at the end of the 1st quarter

• All vehicles driving on campus will be parked in order of arrival in designated lots by school personnel assisted by local law enforcement and the DCHS Jr ROTC Commanders and Cadets

Coin Toss will take place at 7:25 after the National Anthem is played/ The Director of Schools, both Principals , Athletic Directors and Team Captains will meet at the 50 yard line / Coin will be tossed by Dr. Danny Weeks

• The DCHS AND CWHS chapters of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will hold a brief 5th Quarter assembly in the end zone after the game… all players, fans, faculty and coaches from both schools are welcome

• All parking lots will be released by local law enforcement after the game
