Hillsboro’s defense is clicking, tossing a third-straight shutout last week, outscoring foes 133-0 during that span. Last week: 5. Next: Thursday at Hunters Lane.

The Lions should have no problems entering the 3A playoffs unbeaten, averaging more than 40 points a game over their past six. Last week: 6. Next: Friday at Cascade.
7. Ravenwood (9-0)
The Raptors took care of business against archrival Brentwood last week and have locked up the 11-AAA title.. Last week: 7. Next: Thursday vs. Summit.
8. MBA (7-2)
MBA wasn’t lookiing ahead last week, cruising past Pope John Paul II 42-7. Can still finish second in the region.. Last week: 8. Next: Friday vs. McCallie.

The Warriors played better than the final score, but suffered their second loss vs. rival Oakland last week. Battling for third in 7-AAA. Last week: 9. Next: Thursday at Smyrna.
10. Nashville Christian (9-0)
If anyone had doubts about NCS’ unbeaten record, they were answered Friday in a dominating defensive performance (19-0) over unbeaten East Nashville. Last week: unranked. Next: Friday vs. Clarksville Academy.
