BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-The Gulf South Conference named Christian Brothers University freshman defender Andrew Forrest (Lanark, Scotland, Lanark Grammar School) as its Defender of the Week after the Bucs won at Union Friday night.

Forrest was one of the key players on a CBU defense that held Union to just eight shots total, two on goal, in Friday night's 1-0 win. The shutout was the Bucs' ninth of the season and their fifth consecutive.

The Bucs return to action Friday night in the GSC Semifinals against the winner of tomorrow night's quarterfinal between fifth-seeded West Florida and fourth-seeded Shorter.
