Mt. Juliet punter Justen Dubay commits to UT-Martin

Mt. Juliet punter Justen Dubay has committed to play football at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Dubay made his decision over the weekend during an official visit to UTM.

The 6-foot, 190-pound Dubay didn’t join the football team until his junior season. He handled the punting and placekicking duties for the Golden Bears for much of 2013 until making a touchdown-saving tackle which resulted in a season-ending injury.

“He really rebounded from that well,” Mt. Juliet coach Trey Perry said. “We had another kicker transfer in this year, so (Dubay) took over punting duties specifically. He really focused on that, and he was awesome at that for us.”
