Ooltewah Softball Has 3 Consecutive Homers In Red Bank Tourney Win

Ooltewah softball had three consecutive homeruns in a 7-6 win over Sale Creek at the Red Bank tournament on Friday.

Freshman Mabry Carpenter started it off, followed by Aubie Collake and then Bailey Kennedy.

Jadyn Raschke struck out four over six innings of work, but it was Kayla Boseman getting the win - her 13th without a loss.

Allie Jones, who is leading the city in doubles, had four for the night, including in a 16-0 victory over Hixson earlier Friday.

In that four-inning contest, junior Monica Thompson picked up her fourth win of the season against two losses.

Boseman homered and had 3 RBIs. Ooltewah got two hits from Tiera Lemon, Jones and Carpenter. Collake had two RBIs.

Ooltewah is now 26-5.
