Ooltewah freshman pitcher/outfielder Kayla Boseman has been selected as the Class AAA East Miss Softball by the Tennessee Softball Coaches Association.

Boseman, a Mississippi verbal commitment, powered the Lady Owls to a third-place finish in last week’s TSSAA Spring Fling state softball tournament.

Sale Creek’s McKenna Morgan was named to the TSCA All-State Class A team.

Boseman’s teammate, senior Allie Jones, who has signed with Lincoln Memorial University, will play for the East in the TSCA All-Star game at Columbia State on June 15.

Ooltewah’s Jon Massey is one of the East coaches, as is Sale Creek’s Clifford Kirk, although he will not attend the game.

Also on the East roster is Haile Williamson of Boyd-Buchanan.
