Players to watch: Tyrel Dodson, Sr. LB — The Texas A&M commitment was named the District 11-AAA Defensive MVP last season registering 74 tackles, two sacks, three interceptions and two forced fumbles; Peyton Pisacane, Sr. S/WR — Leader of the Cougars secondary and option to help replace All-Midstate offensive second-team selection Emanuel Hall; Mondu Sawyers, Sr. RB — Sawyers will be tasked with taking over the backfield and filling the shoes of Deon Sanders.
