Lenoir City pulls away after closely contested first half

JC Grantham celebrates after scoring the first touchdown of the game during Friday’s Battle of the Bridge at Loudon High School. Grantham’s catch helped spark a 26-point performance for the Lenoir City offense.

Friday night was one of redemption for the Lenoir City Panthers as they dropped the Loudon Redskins 26-14 to pick up their first win of the 2015 season.

“It’s really something,” Logan D’Ooge, Lenoir City senior, said. “I really just can’t even explain it. After last year’s loss, being a first-year starter and whatnot and feeling like you let down the seniors, to come back senior year and just leave it all on the line like that, there’s nothing better. You grow up your whole life playing them.”
