The winning streak is now over for the Baylor volleyball team.
Playing in the Southern Invitational tournament this weekend, Baylor lost its first match against St. Pius before winning matches against Marist, Wando, Harrison and Buford.
The Lady Red Raiders then lost the championship match to Brentwood, a team that Baylor had beaten twice just a few weeks before.
The Lady Bruins were the winners on their third try by scores of 25-19, 17-25 and 15-10.
Gabby Gray had 68 kills and 30 digs for the weekend while Sarah Sumida had an incredible 172 assists and 40 digs.
Lilly Turner had 70 digs while Jane Wilson was credited with nine blocks.
Baylor returns to action with a pair of matches in Knoxville as they face Webb and Knox Catholic. Another key region match will follow on Tuesday at GPS
