There were a lot of big performances by big guys on this week’s Brandon’s Beasts list.

So here are the honorees:

LaTrell Bumphus, Hardin Co.: As if rushing for three touchdowns wasn’t enough, the Tennessee commit contributed from the defensive line with six solo tackles, two assists, two for loss, two sacks and three quarterback hurries.

Justice Cherry, Hardin Co.: Had five solo tackles, two assists, two for loss, two sacks, two quarterback hurries, one caused fumble and a pass break-up.

Joterrius Clark, Bolivar: The defensive lineman has been solid all season and had four tackles, two sacks, two quarterback hurries and graded out at 89 percent this week.

Braden Cooper, Dresden: Graded out at 90 percent from the center position as the Lions rushed for more than 300 yards on the road.

Isiah Donald, Bruceton: Had seven tackles including two for loss, a fumble recovery and two pass break-ups.

Jeremiah Fitzhugh, Liberty: The sophomore defensive end had five tackles, five assists, a forced fumble and one sack while leading a defense that dominated up front all night and gave up 58 total yards.

Brandon McCaleb, McKenzie: The Rebels scored 48 points on 419 yards, and McCaleb was the leader up front in making that happen.

Nicolas Mitchell, Greenfield: He helped the offense rush for more than 200 yards and had 10 tackles with three for loss for the Yellowjackets.

Rhett Peel, University School of Jackson: Had six tackles with two assists, a sack and two for loss.

Matthew Reynolds, Crockett Co.: He’s had some big games the last couple weeks for the Cavaliers including six solo tackles, four assists, one for loss, two sacks, two caused fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one returned 40 yards last week against Ripley.

Jake Tidwell, Adamsville: The sophomore had 11 tackles with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Gabe White, Crockett Co.: Helped the Cavaliers’ offense gain more than 500 yards of offense and score 49 points with his leadership in blocking from the offensive guard position.

Dawson Wood, Lexington: The Tigers averaged 7.9 yards per carry and scored 42 points in a playoff-clinching victory. He played a big role in paving the way for those rushing numbers.
