The Board voted to instruct the state office to make the draw for the regional and state tennis tournaments.
The Board reviewed the action of the Legislative Council meeting held on December 7, 2016.
The Board was provided on update regarding the Tennessee Sports Medicine Advisory Committee.
The Board voted to extend the contract with the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce to host Spring Fling through the next classification cycle (2017-2021).
The Board voted to extend the contract with the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce to host the Division I Boys’ and Girls’ State Basketball Championships through the next classification cycle (2017-2021).
The Board voted to extend the contract with the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce to host the Girls’ Soccer State Championships in 2017 and 2018.
The Board voted to select Cookeville to host the BlueCross Bowl Football Championships beginning in 2017 through 2020.
The Board voted to select Willowbrook in Manchester to host the State Golf Tournament for 2017-2020.
Voted to table officials’ assignors fees until March and asked the state office to come back with a sports specific recommendations regarding a cap for the Board to consider.

20. The Board was given an update in regards to the Catastrophic Insurance Premium and voted for the association to absorb the additional costs to the catastrophic insurance premium to keep the deductible where it currently is instead of charging additional fees to member schools.
21. The Board was given an update regarding Digital Ticketing.
The TSSAA has a new digital partnership with Huddle, the exclusive ticketing partner of the TSSAA and NFHS Network. GoFan, the Huddle digital ticketing platform, will allow high school sports fans the opportunity to purchase online tickets to State Championship events in advance.
Tickets purchased through GoFan will be mobile-only, meaning that these tickets can only be redeemed at the entrance gate when presented on a personal mobile device. Fans can visit the GoFan site at www.GoFan.co/TSSAA to purchase tickets for upcoming championships now.
