Prep Wrestling: McMinn County's David Stoika Claims 300th Win

Retiring McMinn County wrestling coach David Stoika received a late Christmas presentf rom his wrestlers Wednesday night as the Cherokees defeated host Farragut 54-18 and Knoxville Carter 54-12 to give coach Stoika his 300th and 301st career wins.

 

The Cherokees compete in the Mountain Top tournament at St.Andrews-Sewanee Saturday and have eight dual matches remaining on the schedule, including the final home matches February 2 with Sale Creek and Tyner.
