Three Nashville area schools have two finalists in Friday’s TSSAA Individual State Bowling Championships at Smyrna Bowling Center.

Blackman, Siegel and Donelson Christian Academy each have two in the top six of their respective divisions.

Blackman's Baileigh Snow is the top seed for the Division I girls’ finals, while teammate Erika Sisk qualified sixth.

The finals are in a ladder-match format, with the sixth seed facing the fifth seed, and the winner advances to face the next seed in line. Snow only has to win one match to win a state title, as does Lebanon’s Tyler Moore, who earned the top seed in the Division I boys’ tournament.

“It was really impressive,” Snow said. “That’s the farthest we’ve ever gotten before … it’s shocking for us, but it’s a lot of fun.”

Siegel’s Danielle Jedlicki is the No. 2 seed in the Division I girls tournament. Smyrna’s Josh Meeke is the No. 2 seed in Division I boys, while Columbia’s Cole Flatt is fourth and Siegel’s Hunter Whitaker is sixth.

Hardin County's Ashley Channell is seeded third. She beat Jedlicki in a roll-off in last year's final after the two tied after one game.

“Just got to keep grinding and keep up the consistency,” said Flatt, who is the defending champion. “Every shot’s got to be executed. There’s no room for error. You’re bowling against an individual and you’ve just got to outperform everybody.”

Harding Academy’s Nia Bowley and Memphis University School’s Jimmy Morrow are the top seeds in Division II girls and boys, respectively.

Friendship Christian’s Brice Dabbs (No. 4 seed) and DCA’s Kaelyn Thomas (No. 5 seed) are in the Division II girls finals, while DCA’s Ross Dewey (No. 2 seed) and Pope John Paul II’s Quinn Collins (No. 4 seed) will compete in the Division II boys finals.
