Lexington's Brilee Bromley (22) dribbles against Chester County at Chester County High School in Henderson on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017.

District championships are almost all complete in girls basketball.

The district champions that have been decided are Huntingdon (13-A), Greenfield (14-A), Westview (13-AA) and Haywood (15-AA).

The other three — 15-A, 14-AA and 13-AAA — will be decided Monday.

And consequently the top teams in the Dirty Dozen are the top teams in each of the districts.

One team that finally broke through into the top 12 is Lexington. The Lady Tigers have been right on the edge over the past couple weeks, and now they have earned a spot in the District 14-AA championship and a spot in the Dirty Dozen.

After the district championships on Monday, region quarterfinals will be played at the end of the week before the final poll of the season is released next Sunday.
