Ensworth's Dontavia Waggoner (22) shoots over Father Ryan's Rachel Phan (32) during the second half of a Division II-AA semifinal game at Lipscomb on Thursday.

Ensworth held Father Ryan to just six field goals and rolled to a 52-35 win in Thursday's Division II-AA girls basketball semifinal at Lipscomb's Allen Arena.

Father Ryan (25-3) hit just six of 36 shots from the field (16.7 percent). That included just one field goal in the first half to help Ensworth grab a 29-10 lead.

Father Ryan rallied in the second half, trimming it to 38-28 with 4:38 left. But the Lady Tigers (23-4) never let the lead dip below double digits.

"I kept telling our team to settle down and just play our game," said Ensworth junior Jordyn Cambridge, who finished with 12 points. "Don't let them rush us."

The Lady Tigers play for their fourth girls basketball championship in seven appearances at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Freshman Dontavia Waggoner finished with a game-high 21 points. Allison Proctor led Father Ryan (25-3) with 14 points, including a pair of fourth-quarter 3-pointers.
