Prep Roundup: Beech’s Dalton Hall throws no-hitter

Beech High senior starting pitcher Dalton Hall pitched a no-hitter on Tuesday.

Beech senior Dalton Hall tossed a no-hitter in the Buccaneers’ 10-1 victory at Lebanon on Tuesday.

Hall struck out eight Lebanon hitters and did not walk any Blue Devils.

Lebanon’s lone run came as a result of two Beech errors in the bottom of the third inning.

Nelson Smith went 3-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and three runs batted in, while Ty Sutley drove in two runs as well.

Hall’s no-hitter was the second one thrown by a Beech pitcher this season, as senior Ian McWilliams tossed a no-hitter last week.

Softball

Station Camp 5, Gallatin 1 (8 innings): Station Camp scored four runs in the top of the eighth inning to pull away for a 5-1 lead at Gallatin on Tuesday. Madelyne Puckett’s double plated two runs for the Lady Bison (12-1). Ella Rhodes allowed four hits and one run, striking out 10 Gallatin hitters in eight innings. Sidney Link struck out 14 hitters for Gallatin.
