Now: Burt was named the University Athletic Association Rookie of the Year as well as an All-UAA Honorable Mention as a freshman for Chicago this season. She started all 27 games for the Maroons, averaging 9.1 points — the third-highest average on the team — 1.8 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.3 assists. She also led the team in free-throw percentage at .841 and in 3-pointers made with 38. Burt was also named D3hoops.com Central Region Rookie of the Year and to the DIII News All-Freshman Team.

Then: In her four years at Farragut, Burt was named to the All-District tournament three times, the All-Region tournament team twice and the All-District team once. She helped the Lady Admirals win two regular-season district championships, two region tournament championships and three district tournament championships. As a senior, she averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2.2 steals while shooting 84 percent on free throws and 41 percent on 3-pointers. She also competed in track for four years and soccer for two.
