Riverdale senior Nick Boykin, Blackman senior Matthew Sells and Siegel junior Christian Salter are the three finalists for the all-area wrestler of the year award.

The award will be presented at a reception in May.

Boykin won his third straight Class AAA title in the 285-pound division, defeating Wilson Central's Michael Kramer 14-4 in the finals. He did not lose in his final three seasons, going 140-0. Most of those wins were by pins.

Sells captured his second consecutive Class AAA state title in the 160-pound division, defeating Bradley Central's Caleb Adkins 4-3. Sells went 49-0 this season and 98-2 over the past two years.

Salter lost just two matches entering the state and reached the finals in the Class AAA 182-pound division. He setled for runner-up after falling 6-0 to Knox Gibbs' Hunter Fortner. Salter went 45-3 on the season.

Other medalists on the all-area first team include Eagleville's Wyatt McLemore (113), Stewarts Creek's Jaylen James (120), Smyrna's Cameron Henderson (126), Blackman's Daniel Bradford (132), Stewarts Creek's Gabe Rogers (132), Stewarts Creek's Jason Chambers (145) and Blackman's Landon Fowler (152),
