Tennessean All-Midstate boys, girls bowling teams
The top high school athletes from Middle Tennessee will converge at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center on June 6 for The Tennessean’s second annual Sports Awards presented by Farm Bureau Health Plans.
Tickets are on sale for the event, which will feature Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota as the guest speaker.

BOYS FIRST TEAM
Finalists for Boys Bowler of the Year
Quinn Collins, Pope John Paul II, So.
Collins, who averaged 205.17 during the regular season, won the Division II title with a 212-188 win over MUS’ Jimmy Morrow.
Cole Flatt, Columbia, Sr.
Flatt, a two-time individual champion who averaged 219.20 during the regular season, advanced to the Division I finals and finished as runner-up.
Luke Flatt, Columbia, So.
Flatt averaged a state-leading 231.10 heading into the individual state tournament, where he posted an eighth-place finish.
Josh Meeke, Smyrna, So.
Meeke, who averaged 226.47 during the regular season, advanced to the Division I state finals, where he finished third.
Tyler Moore, Lebanon, Jr.
Moore, who averaged 207.43 during the regular season, won the Division I title with a 203-191 victory over two-time champion Cole Flatt of Columbia.
Remainder of first team
Hunter Whitaker, Siegel, Sr.: Whitaker, who averaged 206.10 during the regular season, advanced to the Division I finals, where he finished in sixth place.

BOYS COACH OF THE YEAR:Carl Syler,Smyrna
Led Smyrna to the Division I state finals, where it was edged 14-13 by Hardin County. The Bulldogs, led by sophomore Josh Meeke’s team-leading 226.47 average, rolled to the District 7 and Region 4 titles en route to a second consecutive runner-up finish.

Finalists for Girls Bowler of the Year
Madeline Cain, White House, Sr.
Cain, who averaged 191.57 during the regular season, advanced to the Division I semifinals, where she finished in eighth place.
Danielle Jedlicki,Siegel, So.
Jedlicki, who averaged 190.36 during the regular season, won the Division I individual title with a 245-201 win over Blackman’s Baileigh Snow.
Sarah Sanes,Blackman, So.
Sanes, who averaged 199.00 during the regular season, advanced to the Division I semifinals, where she finished in ninth place.
Erika Sisk,Blackman, Jr.
Sisk, who averaged 185.63 during the regular season, advanced to the Division I finals, where she finished in sixth place.
Baileigh Snow,Blackman, Fr.
Snow, who averaged 194.61 during the regular season, advanced to the Division I finals, where she finished runner-up to Siegel’s Danielle Jedlicki.

Megan Metz,Wilson Central, Jr.: Metz, who averaged 201.06 during the regular season, advanced to the Division I semifinals, where she finished 10th.

GIRLS COACH OF THE YEAR:Tracy Lamberth, White House
In his first season at White House, Lamberth led the Lady Blue Devils to a Division I finals appearance. White House, led by senior Abigail Smith’s 192.67 average, won District 13 and Region 6 titles en route to its third consecutive runner-up finish.
