Franklin senior Max Wray committed to play football at Ohio State on Saturday morning.

Franklin's Max Wray

Wray, the No. 4-ranked offensive tackle according to 247Sports, announced his decision via Twitter, posting, “I am so excited to announce I have committed to The Ohio State University!!”

Last season, the 6-foot-5, 289-pounder helped pave the way for a Rebels offense that produced 33.8 points and 373.4 yards per contest, garnering Tennessee All-Midstate first-team honors.

Wray, a four-star prospect who had previously committed to Georgia, chose the Buckeyes over scholarship offers from more than a dozen Division I programs, including Alabama, LSU and Tennessee.

Commitments are nonbinding for both the athlete and the school.
