Here are the top performances from Thursday's West Tennessee Spring Fling action:

Jackson Christian's Kacie Lynch (1) makes a catch at second base during game 6 of the TSSAA Class A Softball Tournament, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 against Whitwell. Jackson Christian defeated Whitwell 10-9.

1. Kacie Lynch (Jackson Christian softball, Senior) – Lunch went 4-for-7 with three RBI and three runs scored in a pair of games in the Class A state tournament as the Lady Eagles beat Goodpasture 19-3 and lost to Meigs County 7-1.

2. Katie Turner (McNairy Central softball, Junior) – Turner pitched a three-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and two walks as the Lady Bobcats beat Creek Wood 3-0 to advance to the championship game of the Class AA state tournament.

3. Jessica Cisco (Jackson Christian softball, Freshman) – Cisco went 5-for-5 with five RBI and four runs as the Lady Eagles beat Goodpasture 19-3 in the Class A state tournament.

4. Tori York (McNairy Central softball, Freshman) – York hit a three-run home run to send the Lady Bobcats to a 3-0 win over Creek Woods a spot in the Class AA state championship game.

5. Loral Winn (Dresden track, Sophomore) – Winn finished second in the 800-meter run and third in the 1600-meter run at the Class A-AA state track meet.

6. Cade Reasons (USJ tennis, Senior) – Reasons advanced to the Division II-A singles semifinals with a 6-4, 6-1 win to finish in the top four in the state.

7. Melanie Alexander (Scotts Hill softball, Junior) – Alexander hit a three-run home run, but the Lady Lions were eliminated from the Class A state tournament by Meigs County.

8. Makayla Transou (South Side track, Sophomore) – Transou finished third in the long jump at the Class A-AA state track meet.

9. Ethan Richardson (Trenton Peabody baseball, Senior) – Richardson went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored as the Golden Tide beat Goodpasture 10-2 and lost to them 7-4.
