Then: Fadnek was a four-time TSWA All-State pitcher who set the state record for career strikeouts with 1,925. Over her four years at Coalfield, she posted a sub-1.00 earned run average and batted over .400. The Yellow Jackets were four time regions champs during her career and secured their first two state tournament wins in program history.
Now: The senior was named the Southern Conference tournament MVP on May 14 after ETSU won its first ever conference championship. During the tournament she tossed 11 scoreless innings, allowing only three hits and striking out 10. This season, she went 9-6 with a 3.84 ERA.
