Area Athletes Land State Track and Field Spots, D-B Boys Win Sectional Title

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Berths in the 2017 TSSAA State Track & Field Meet were on the line at the Class AAA East Tennessee Sectional Saturday afternoon at Hardin Valley Academy.
Athletes representing 30 schools were vying for the coveted top four spots in each event and the accompanying trips to Murfreesboro.
Team titles were also up for grabs, although out-pointing the competition is often the secondary goal.
