Jackson area high school basketball team camps in June

With the 2016-17 school year over, high school basketball teams begin to prepare for the 2017-18 season.

One way teams begin preparing in June for the upcoming season is camps held at area colleges. Teams will play multiple games in a day, so fans can see exactly what their favorite team is bringing back for the upcoming season.

Here is a look at where and what days camps will be happening:

• Bethel University will host its boys' team camp June 5-7.

• UT Martin will host two girls' team camps. The first is June 7-9, and the second is June 21-23.

• UT Martin will host its boys' team camp on June 9-10 with teams guaranteed six games over two days.

• Bethel University will host its girls' team camp on June 12-15.

• Union University will host its boys' team camp on June 19-22.

• UT Martin will host a one-day tournament on June 24 with each team getting a minimum of two games and a maximum of five games.
