Riverdale defensive lineman Dre Litaker is a 2018 Tennessee football commitment.

Riverdale senior football standout D'Andre Litaker committed to Tennessee on Tuesday afternoon.

The announcement came via a Twitter post.

Litaker, a 6-foot-2, 300-pound defensive tackle, had narrowed his choices to the Vols, Louisville and Alabama.

Just a day earlier, his teammate, defensive back Jarek Campbell, announced he was committing to Louisville.

Following the death of his mother earlier in the year, Litaker moved in with Campbell's family.

According to 247Sports, Litaker is a four-star prospect. He is ranked No. 23 nationally at his position while ranked No. 7 in Tennessee.

Litaker transferred from Oakland to Riverdale prior to his junior year but missed the entire 2016 season and this past spring practice with a knee injury. He is expected to be back around time for the 2017 regular season to begin.

Litaker also had offers from Florida, Auburn, LSU, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Memphis.

He is the third area player to commit to a major Division I program over the past three days. Campbell and Blackman running back Master Teague (Ohio State) are the other two.
