Buffalo Wings & Rings owner has a heart for food and student-athletes

Buffalo Wings & Rings owner Mark Cross has a heart for thousands of student-athletes and hundreds of coaches in Williamson County. He shows that love by feeding them during celebratory times and in times of loss.

“He has done nothing but great things for us at the Williamson County Schools Sports Conference, all the public schools and the athletes,” said Williamson County Schools Athletic Director Jeremy Qualls.

On Monday afternoon, Buffalo Wings & Rings held a ribbon cutting to kick off the summer season with Williamson Inc. Open since Nov. 16, the restaurant is located at 105 International Drive off Carothers Parkway in Cool Springs.

“The ability to bring a true premium sports restaurant experience to Williamson County was my dream,” Cross said.

Cross' Buffalo Wings & Rings was the restaurant chain's first franchise in Tennessee.

It is a 5,600-square-foot space that employs 85 full- and part-time workers.

The chef-inspired “farm to table” food is all fresh, never frozen chicken and beef delivered directly to the store from a farm in Mississippi, according to Cross.

He is “community driven” by hosting the Williamson County Schools Sports Conference athletes for watch parties during state championships, along with generously feeding the Centennial football team after the loss of fellow player, Jim Cheek.

"The [Williamson County Schools Sports Conference] is near and dear to my heart,” Cross said.

I have to also speak up for all of the work that Mark,Candace and his team have done for High Hopes Inclusive Preschool & Pediatric Therapy Clinic! He came to visit their facility in Franklin and He jumped right in and has given so much at our Giving on the Green golf tournament feeding the 144 golfers this year at Brentwood Country Club http://bcctn.org, providing his wonderful vacation property for two of our events: Stars & Strikes at Kings Bowl and Hats Off to High Hopes at the Ryman Auditorium and ALWAYS saying "yes" to any suggestions on how to help. His heart is huge and he NEVER lacks for energy to serve his community.
This guy deserves our support because he's already given so much to us as a community. Please go check out the Wings & Rings 105 International Dr. Buffalo Wings & Rings.
SALADS, BURGERS, yummy DESSERTS, and of course... the best wings (lots of flavors for you to try with HEAT from mild to Nuclear Hot!)
Mark Cross you are what community is all about.
Thank you!
Please Share this so everyone knows. Thank you Williamson, Inc. for a great ribbon cutting ceremony and the Williamson Herald @wherald for the great coverage.
