Demarco Moore, Sports Writer If the Coffee County Central High School golf team’s season-opening match is any indication of how the rest of the season will go, then the Red Raiders are in good shape moving forward. The Red Raiders picked up win No. 1 against Grundy County, defeating the YellowJackets 309-424 on Monday at Willowbrook Golf Course. Junior Austin Farris held his own, shooting a 2-under-par 70 to lead all players on the day. Farris’ playing partner, fellow junior Samuel Prater, finished seven strokes behind with a 77, while Josh Perry (80), Reid Lawrence (82), Matthew Hale (86) and Chase Hancock (98) rounded off the Red Raiders’ scores.
