Super Seniors for Jackson area's high school cross country
BOYS
Trey Borgognoni (Madison) – Borgognoni consistently finished in the top 10 throughout his junior season, and that continued in the postseason as he finished seventh in the Region 8 A-AA meet. He wants to lead the Mustangs to another region title.
______________________________________________________________________
Miles Northcut (TCA) – Northcut will lead a senior-heavy Lions’ team working to win a region title this year. He should be a top 10 finisher throughout the year, so teams should keep an eye on him at every meet.
______________________________________________________________________
Donovan Spivey (Westview) – Spivey has been working hard over the summer to get his time down. After making the 2016 Class A-AA state meet, he wants to make a return and improve on his finish to cap off his senior season.
______________________________________________________________________
Isaac Wehner (South Gibson) – Wehner played a key role in the Hornets winning the Region 7 A-AA title last season with a second-place finish. He should have another strong season in the Large Division.

GIRLS
Rachel Cravens (Dresden) – Cravens is a strong competitor that has helped keep the Lady Lions as one of the top teams in West Tennessee. She will join forces with juniors Anna Johnson and Loral Winn to push for a state championship.
______________________________________________________________________
Robyn Evans (Crockett County) – Evans was consistently in the top 10 last season, and she went on to finish 33rd in the Class A-AA state meet with a time of 21:10.60. She will look to have another strong season this year.
______________________________________________________________________
Wells Johnstone (Madison) – Johnstone finished runner-up in the Region 8 A-AA meet last year behind TCA’s Brynne Lytle. The Lady Mustangs have the chance to have another good team, and Johnstone will try to lead them to state.
______________________________________________________________________
Virginia Webster (South Gibson) – Webster plays two sports in the fall, so much of her extra time is spent in athletics. When she is not on the soccer field, she is running one of the fastest times on the team.
______________________________________________________________________
Kelly Raye White (Huntingdon) – White has been putting in the hours over the summer to get her time down and be ready for this season. She is captain of a team led by four seniors, and this could be the year for the Fillies to make some noise as a team.
