Defensive nominees

Morgan Ernst, Webb: Ernst recorded 18 tackles, a sack and a blocked extra point in a 48-27 victory over Grace Christian.

Bryson Reed, Powell: Reed racked up eight tackles, including two for a loss, with a sack in Powell’s win.

Andrew Sorrells, Grace Christian: Sorrells returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown and made seven tackles in a 48-27 loss to Webb.

Xavier Washington, Central: Washington had nine tackles, two for a loss, along with a fumble recovery and one-handed interception in a 28-12 win over Seymour.

Hunter Huff, Halls: Huff racked up 11 tackles and blocked two extra points and a punt while also recovering two fumbles in Halls' 44-28 win over Carter.

Offensive nominees

Luke Ferguson, Central: Ferguson, a freshman in his second game, completed all ten of his pass attempts for 155 yards and three scores in a 28-12 win over Seymour.

Webb's Morgan Ernst

Shawn Marcum, Campbell County: Marcum caught nine passes for a team-high 151 yards and two scores in a 41-21 win over Gibbs.

Luke Kirby, Grace Christian: Kirby completed 26 of his 37 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown in his team’s 48-27 loss to Webb.

Morgan Ernst, Webb: Ernst rushed the ball for 176 yards and three scores in a 48-27 victory over Grace Christian.

Greeneville quarterback Cade Ballard

Cade Ballard, Greeneville: Ballard threw the ball 25 times with 21 completions for 303 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-8 win over Pisgah (NC). Ballard also rushed the ball 12 times for 59 yards and a score.
