Top 5 games for Williamson County high school football teams for Week 6

Here is a look at the top five games involving Williamson County high school football programs for Week 6 of the 2017 season.

Brentwood Academy (4-0) at Knoxville Catholic (3-2)

When: 6:30 p.m. (CT), Friday

Brentwood Academy, which is ranked 10th nationally by USA TODAY, must key on Catholic receiver DaShon Bussell, a transfer from Indiana. A talented offensive line that includes Tennessee commitment Cade Mays and college prospect Bryn Tucker will have their hands full against the Eagles' Michael Hunt and Airin Spell, who have six sacks apiece.

Riverdale (4-1) at Centennial (2-3)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

A family rivalry begins with Riverdale second-year coach Will Kriesky facing Centennial second-year coach Matt Kriesky, his twin brother for the first time. Riverdale, which gave up 143 yards to Oakland's Jeron Rooks last week, must try to slow down Centennial's Tre Carlton and Jariel Wilson. Carlton and Wilson had 184 and 132 rushing yards respectively last week.

Page (4-1, 1-0 in 5-5A) at Summit (4-1, 2-0)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Two of the better running backs in Williamson County face off in this Region 5-5A contest. Summit boasts Tai Carter, who has 558 rushing yards this season. Page counters with Bubba Johnson, who has 675 yards on the ground. 

Fairview (3-2) at Greenbrier (5-0)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Fairview's Darius James, a Sycamore transfer, has been a key contributor throughout the first half of the season, rushing for 537 yards. The Yellow Jackets face a Greenbrier program off to its best start since starting 5-0 in 1981.

Ravenwood (4-1) at Father Ryan (2-3)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Ravenwood is coming off its biggest win of the year, a 31-23 victory over previously unbeaten Brentwood. The Raptors face the Irish, led by former Ravenwood coach Brian Rector, who led them to its first state title in 2005. Ravenwood quarterback Brian Garcia has thrown for more than 500 yards this season to lead the Raptors' offense.
