Lenoir City names new baseball coach

Dusty Langley was named the interim head baseball coach Monday at Lenoir City High School. Langley served as an assistant last year for the Panthers.

Lenoir City High School named assistant baseball coach Dusty Langley the new interim head coach for the 2018 season on Monday.

“There were a couple of things that went into this decision,” Greg Boling, LCHS athletic director, said. “First off, there’s just that sense of continuity. He already knows the kids and the kids all know him. Second, he really knows baseball, so we just thought it would be a good transition for our kids. At the end of the day, that’s what really matters — the kids.”
