Top Cheatham County high school football games for Week 10

All three Cheatham County schools used Week 9 as a chance to rest and prepare for the final two games of the season.

Cheatham County has already locked up a Class 3A home playoff game, but can win the Region 6-3A title with two more wins. Harpeth and Sycamore still have work to do to reach the postseason.

Here is a look at the Cheatham County football games for Week 10.

Stewart Co. (1-7, 0-3 in Region 6-3A)

at Cheatham Co. (6-2, 3-0)

When: Friday, 7:30 p.m.

The Cubs host a struggling Rebels team whose lone win came against Fulton County (KY). Landon Barnes looks to break the 1,000-yard rushing mark in Cheatham County’s final home game of the season. Cheatham County is still in the hunt for the number one seed in Region 6-3A with the season finale against Fairview likely determining the region champion.

Camden (1-7, 1-2) at Sycamore (4-4, 1-2)

When: Friday, 7 p.m.

The War Eagles seek consecutive victories for the first time since Week 1 and 2. Sycamore is tied for third place in Region 6-3A, but could fall out of the playoffs with losses to finish the season. Camden is guaranteed a playoff berth with back-to-back wins to finish the regular season.

Harpeth (4-4) at Fayetteville (5-3)

When: Friday, 7 p.m.

Harpeth dropped its final home game of the season to Fairview in Week 8, but can still qualify for the playoffs. The Indians play Fayetteville in a non-region tuneup before their region finale at Sycamore that will determine their playoff hopes. The Indians currently sit just a half game behind Camden and Sycamore in the Region 6-3A standings.
