Dickson Co. (0-8) at Lawrence Co. (2-6)

7 p.m., Friday

With an opportunity to play in the postseason behind them, the Cougars travel to Lawrenceburg in search of their first win of the season. This is likely their best opportunity for a victory. Converted quarterback Darian Burns leads Dickson County's offense (362 passing yards, 434 rushing yards). He is also second on the team in tackles with 40 and has two interceptions. Linebacker Gavin Meadows leads the team in tackles with 44.

Creek Wood (4-4, 1-3 in Region 5-4A)
at Portland (2-7, 2-3)

7 p.m., Friday

It's a must-win week for Creek Wood if it hopes to reach the postseason for the first time since 2014. The Red Hawks have lost two straight and three of their past four games. Running back Sam Askins leads Creek Wood with more than 681 rushing yards and nine rushing TDs this season. Quarterback Tim Randolph is 27-of-51 passing for 349 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions. He also has 209 rushing yards and two rushing TDs. A win guarantees Portland the fourth and final playoff berth from Region 5-4A.
